NOTICE OF PETITION FOR DECLARATORY STATEMENT

The Board of Cosmetology hereby gives notice that on April 11, 2014, it received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Benefit Cosmetics LLC. The Petitioner seeks the Board to interpret subsections 61G5-20.002(2) and (5), F.A.C., to determine whether the Petitioner, a limited liability company providing counter specialty salon services as described in the petition, which operates within department stores or cosmetic retailers, must provide toilet and lavatory facilities accessible to the general public. And who has the sink must be plumbed or if a portable sink is satisfactory.
