FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTIFICATION
Miami Dade County
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has determined that the Miami Dade Countys project to replace a 12-inch transmission line with a 20-inch line at the Rickenbacker Causeway Intracoastal Waterway Bridge between Hobie Island and Virginia Key in Miami-Dade County will not adversely affect the environment. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $2,287,835. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
