    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rules is to adopt health and safety checklists to be utilized by school readiness license exempt providers. The creation of these checklists is statutorily mandated, and is to provide parents or visitors to these centers with information regarding the status of the provider’s health and safety practices.
