    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: April 14, 2017, 10:00 a.m.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This technical meeting is for interested stakeholders to discuss with the department the model development and total maximum daily load (TMDL) approach for Lake George and two downstream stream segments of the St. Johns River in the Middle St. Johns River basin. The meeting will provide an opportunity for the department to present steps they will take to establish TMDLs and site specific numeric interpretations of the narrative nutrient criterion for these waters. Written comments on the approach will be accepted by the department through April 28, 2017.
