    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 5:00 p.m. Brief Presentation: 6:00 p.m.

    Project Description: State Road (SR) 40 from West of County Road (CR) 328 to SW 80th Avenue .
    Public Hearing
    Marion County
    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a public hearing regarding plans to widen SR 40 from west of CR 328 to SW 80th Avenue in Marion County. This project consists of the widening of SR 40 from two lanes to four lanes, and includes changes to median openings and drainage improvements. The project is funded for construction in 2014.
    The hearing begins with an open house at 5:00 p.m., where participants may review project documents and discuss the project with staff. There is a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m., after which participants may provide comments to all present. The hearing ends at 7:00 p.m. The presentation will also be available online at www.cflroads.com. Participants may also provide public comment directly to a court reporter at any time during the hearing. Written comments can be submitted at this hearing or by mail to; Mr. David Dangel, P.E., Public Involvement Coordinator, Inwood Consulting Engineers, 3000 Dovera Drive, Suite 200, Oviedo, Florida 32765; or by email to ddangel@inwoodinc.com, no later than June 4, 2013.
