    NOTICE TO ROOFING CONTRACTORS

    INVITATION TO BID

    The University of North Florida Board of Trustees, a public body corporate, announces that roofing contractor services are required for three buildings at UNF. The address for Buildings 6 and 14E is the University of North Florida at 1 UNF Drive. Building 64 is located adjacent to the campus at 11820 Central Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32224.

    Project information

    Project scope is for the roofing replacement on three UNF (University of North Florida) buildings. Each of the three buildings has a different scope of work. UNF Annex Building 6 requires the application of a fluid applied roof membrane system over the existing approximately 28,500SF roof.  The scope of Andrew Robinson Jr. Building 14E includes the complete removal and replacement of an existing approximately 11,800SF with a new modified bitumen membrane system. The Central Maintenance Facility Building 64 requires the complete removal and replacement of an approximately 67,000SF roof with a new single ply TPO membrane assembly.     Bids Due: June 2, 2020, 12:00 Noon

    Firms wishing to apply for consideration shall submit the appropriate documents from RFQ 20-10 titled Various Buildings Roof Replacement.

    Blanket liability insurance will be required for this project in the amount of $2,000,000 and will be provided as part of the Basic Services (each, aggregate and per occurrence).

    As required by §287.133, Fla. Stat., a consultant may not submit a proposal for this project if it is on the convicted vendor list for a public entity crime committed within the past 36 months.  The selected consultant must warrant that it will neither utilize the services of, nor contract with, any supplier, subcontractor or consultant in excess of $15,000 in connection with this project for a period of 36 months from the date of their being placed on the convicted vendor list.

    Submit one complete copy of your firms bid (paper and electronic) per solicitation requirements. ITB submittals must be received no later than 12:00 Noon on June 2, 2020. Facsimile (fax) or email submittals are not acceptable and will not be considered.
