    South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Working Group sponsored Public Workshop on Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) Recreation Issues

    DATE AND TIME: April 17, 2012, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Coral Springs Marriott, 11775 Heron Bay Boulevard, Coral Springs, FL 33076

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The next in a series of public workshops for the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) is being sponsored by the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Working Group to engage the public. This workshop will focus solely on recreation issues. The CEPP is a fast-track planning effort for the next generation of Everglades restoration projects being conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) as part of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan. The Working Group is sponsoring public workshops to facilitate public participation in the CEPP. The public is advised that it is possible that one or more members of the Water Resources Advisory Commission and Governing Board of the SFWMD may attend and participate in this meeting.
