    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the amendment to Rule 59G-4.035, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), is to incorporate by reference the Florida Medicaid School Based Services Coverage Policy, _________, and revise the rule title. The incorporated coverage policy will specify recipient eligibility, provider requirements, service coverage, and reimbursement information. The rule title will be revised to Medicaid School Based Services.

    THE PRELIMINARY TEXT OF THE PROPOSED RULE DEVELOPMENT IS:

     

    59G-4.035 Medicaid Certified School Based Services Match Program.

    (1) This rule applies to public, private, or charter schools providing school based services to recipients all school districts enrolled in the Medicaid certified school match program, as described in Section 409.9071, F.S.

    (2) All school district providers enrolled in Medicaid under the certified school match program must be in compliance with the Florida Medicaid Certified School Based Services Coverage Policy,________,Match Coverage and Limitations Handbook, January 2005, incorporated by reference. The policy is available on the Agency for Health Care Administration’s Web site at http://ahca.myflorida.com/Medicaid/review/index.shtml, and at [DOS place holder Ref-_______]. , and the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Handbook, CMS-1500, which is incorporated by reference in Rule 59G-4.001, F.A.C. Both handbooks are available from the Medicaid fiscal agent.
