NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from G.B. Collins Engineering, P.A. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 454.1.6.1, Florida Building Code, Building, 6th Edition (2017) as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification about whether the exception for providing sanitary facilities to a public swimming pool serving only a designated group of residential dwelling units located within a 200-foot horizontal radius of the nearest water's edge would apply to a hotel.
