    The FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, DISTRICT 3 announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 5:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. CT

    PLACE: Santa Rosa County Auditorium, 4530 Spikes Way, Milton, Florida

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The intent of this project is to evaluate the need to increase the capacity for the east-west travel demands on U.S. 90 in Milton. Right of way acquisition will be required. The project is funded for design and a portion right-of-way. Construction is not funded in the Five-Year Work Program at this time. This hearing is being held to provide interested persons an opportunity to review the results of the study and to receive input on the remaining alternatives. This hearing will begin as an open house at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6 p.m. followed by a public comment period. FDOT representatives will be available at the hearing to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.

    The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by FHWA and FDOT.
