NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 1, 2020, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Centro Asturiano de Tampa, Inc. at 1913 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33602. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of an unknown rule of the FL Building Code, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires use of a commercial lift with a 42” door opening which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 14 days of the publication of this notice with Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 2601 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2020-041).
