    The Department of Health, Community Health Promotion, Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATES AND TIMES: May 19, 2019, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., May 10, 2019, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard

    of Hearing (FCCDHH) is mandated by Florida Statute 413.271 to serve as an advisory and coordinating body which recommends policies that address the needs of Florida's community who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened or have combined hearing and vision loss. The purpose of this quarterly meeting will be to elect a new Council Chair and Vice-Chair and to hear public comments from those affected by Hurricane Michael as well as public comments from Floridians who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late-Deafened, or Deaf-Blind.
