    64B17-3.003: Licensure by Endorsement

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 2, 2013, the Board of Physical Therapy Practice, received a petition for variance or waiver of Rule 64B17-3.003, F.A.C., filed by Peter J. Wilde, which requires that an applicant demonstrating that he or she meets the requirements of Rule 64B17-3.001, F.A.C., may be licensed to practice physical therapy by endorsement by presenting evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant has active licensure in another jurisdiction and has passed an examination before a similar, lawful, authorized examining board in physical therapy in such other jurisdiction if their standards for licensure are as high as those maintained in Florida.
    Comments on this petition should be filed with the Board of Physical Therapy Practice, 4052 Bald Cypress Way, Bin #C05, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3255, within 14 days of publication of this notice.
