65C-22.001General Requirements

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 04, 2019, the Department of Children and Families, received a petition for received a petition for variance of Section 3.8.4(A) of the Child Care Facility Handbook, which is incorporated by reference in subsection 65C-22.001(6), Florida Administrative Code, from Learning Trails, assigned Case No. 19-005W. Section 3.8.4(A) of the Child Care Facility Handbook requires that during the facility’s license year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. Subsection 65C-22.001(6), F.A.C., states in pertinent part that child care programs must follow the standards found in the “Child Care Facility Handbook,” October 2017, incorporated herein by reference.
