NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 29, 2024, the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), received a petition for Variance (Petition) from Bluefield Ranch Environmental Mitigation Bank, LLC, 30501 Bluefield Road, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34987, for Bluefield Ranch Mitigation Bank located in Martin and St. Lucie Counties, Florida (Application No. 240329-43103/Permit No. 56-00002-M). The Petition seeks a variance from the requirements to substantially comply with and utilize the trust fund form that is adopted and required by subsection 62-342.700(11), F.A.C. The Petition seeks to modify the financial assurance forms approved in the Permit by replacing them with a form that includes the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a beneficiary. Any interested person or other agency may submit written comments on the Petition within 14 days after publication of this notice.
