    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 21, 2020, the Board of Professional Engineers, received a petition for variance or waiver submitted by Jacquline Foster regarding subsection 61G15-22.0002(3), F.A.C, regarding the reinstatement of void license. Due to hardship, the COVID-19 pandemic and actions to limit gatherings of people and “social distancing,” Petitioner is requesting a variance and waiver on the requirement of completing 35 continuing education hours from “in person” courses and to be allowed to complete the courses online or through distance learning courses to meet the requirements. Petitioner also requested extending the timeframe until December 2, 2020. Comments on this petition should be filed with the Board of Professional Engineers, 2639 North Monroe Street, Suite B-112, Tallahassee, FL 32303, within 14 days of publication of this notice.
