    NOTICE OF CORRECTION

Notice is hereby given that the following correction has been made to the proposed rule published in the Vol. 39, No. 38, February 25, 2013 issue of the Florida Administrative Register. As indicated in its initial Notice of Proposed Rule, the Department has determined that the proposed rule is not anticipated to have an adverse impact on small business, and is not anticipated to directly or indirectly increase regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within 1 year of the rule’s implementation. As such, pursuant to Sections 120.54(3)(b) and 120.541(1)(b), Florida Statutes, the Department has not prepared a statement of estimated regulatory costs in connection with this rule promulgation. Moreover, the Department has determined that the proposed rule does not meet any of the criteria specified in Section 120.541(2)(a), Florida Statutes, which would otherwise trigger the requirement for legislative ratification specified in Section 120.541(3), Florida Statutes. In reaching these determinations, the Department expressly relied on various internal assessments and analysis of both the time and difficulty of completing the various screening instruments, relative to the forms which are presently utilized by the Department, to understand whether the forms might potentially lengthen or complicate the assessment process. As part of this internal analysis, the Department conducted a partial piloting of portions of the screening instruments which led it to conclude that the forms generated numerous efficiencies in terms of streamlining and simplifying the assessment process, while the reformatted forms themselves were crafted to ensure more accurate and rapid data collection.
