    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 01, 2018, the Board of Pharmacy, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Martin R. Dix, Esquire, on behalf of PetMed Express, Inc., d/b/a 1(800)PetMeds, seeking a waiver of the requirement of paragraph 64B16-27.4001(2)(a), F.A.C, which states that delegated tasks must be performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and defines direct supervision as supervision by a pharmacist who is on the premises at all times the delegated tasks are being performed; who is aware of delegated tasks being performed; and who is readily available to provide personal assistance, direction and approval throughout the time the delegated tasks are being performed.
