    Project Description: Evaluate a multi-use trail along State Road (S.R.) 40 from Levy Hammock Road to U.S. 17.

    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Corridor Planning Study to assess alternative alignments for a multi-use trail from Levy Hammock Road to U.S. 17, approximately 27 miles. This first Project Visioning Team (PVT) meeting will kick-off the study. The project team will provide a brief overview of the purpose of the project, discuss the existing and future conditions, and begin to identify alternatives for further evaluation.

    The PVT is an advisory group (not an independent decision-making board) that will assist FDOT and the consultant team by providing jurisdictional, policy, technical, and administrative guidance throughout the project. Your interest in this study is truly valued and appreciated. This is a working meeting with the FDOT staff and PVT members, which is open to public attendance. Comment cards will be provided for any questions or comments regarding this study by the public, otherwise the public may contact the study team before or after the meeting.
