The Florida Building Commission, Energy Technical Advisory Committee announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Provide comments to the Rule Development Workshop “Rule 61G20-1.001, F.A.C.” of June 8, 2016 for the purpose of reviewing proposed code language for the implementation of HB 535.
Discuss and provide recommendations to the Commission regarding the following:
(1) Whether onsite renewable power generation may be used for compliance, and
(2) Whether onsite renewable power generation may be used for a period longer than three years but not more than six consecutive years.
Review and recommend for approval the proposed changes to the Energy Gauge USA for compliance with the 5th Edition (2014) FBC, Energy Conservation.
