INVITATION TO BID
Project number and name: 211054 Construct New Sanitary Sewer Line Along Yerkes Rd, Camp Blanding, Starke, FL (Clay County). Scope: Extend the post main sanitary sewer line to Yerkes Rd to tie in 10 existing latrine facilities on the ranges. These latrine facilities are currently on septic tanks to be removed and drain fields abandoned. Includes 785’ of 6” PVC gravity service laterals from existing buildings to new sewer line/pump station. The first pump station will be approximately 2000’ west of Duval and Yerkes Rd intersection. From this first pump station there will be 5,100’ of 2” PVC along Yerkes Rd serving as a force main to the first manhole. From this first manhole, there is approximately 8,200’ of 8” PVC gravity main with a manhole every 400’ along Yerkes Rd flowing to a second pump station near Yerkes Rd and Whitmore Lake Rd intersection. From this second pump station 12,520’ of 4” PVC force main will be installed parallel to the 8” gravity main back up to Duval Rd where it will turn and tie into the post main sanitary sewer line near the Space Florida complex. Add 2 pump stations and approximately 18 manholes throughout the project. There will be three directional borings under Yerkes Rd – one 4” force main at the intersection of Duval and Yerkes Rd, one 2” water line and one 6” service lateral, both at the second pump station.
