NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 12, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Bank of America Building located at 390 N Orange Ave, Clearwater, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1b, Sections 2.4.1.5, 2.4.6.2, 2.10.2.1, and 2.15.9.2 as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code, and are requesting permission to use a retractable toe guard and collapsible handrail.
