GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: District staff shall provide information regarding the land assessment process and District lands within the Kissimmee/Okeechobee Region. The purpose of the land assessment is to take a comprehensive and detailed look at the District’s land inventory to ensure that the present and future use of these lands will be utilized in the most effective manner to support the District’s core mission requirements, and to comply with other important state policy objectives. Public input and comment will be received. More information about the process is available at www.sfwmd.gov/landassessment.
