    61J2-3.012Equivalency for Prelicensing Education

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Real Estate Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from George Mosle and Alison Williams, filed on May 8, 2018. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of Rule 61J2-3.012, F.A.C., as it applies to the petitioner.

    The petitioner seeks the Commission’s interpretation of Rule 61J2-3.012, F.A.C., regarding equivalency standards for the pre-licensing education requirements set forth in paragraph 475.17(2)(a), Florida Statutes, which applies to Florida real estate sales associate and broker applicants and subsection 475.181(2), Florida Statutes, which requires an applicant to pass the licensing examination within two years of completing the pre-licensing education requirement. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
