73A-3.008Election of Tax Credits

The Department of Economic Opportunity hereby gives notice:

that on January 30, 2018, it received a petition for Waiver and/or Variance from the requirements of Rule 73A-3.008, F.A.C., from Bluewater Media, LLC. Rule 73A-3.008, F.A.C., provides a deadline for when an awardee must submit a tax credit election form.

Notice of the Petition was published in Vol. 44 Issue 34 of the Florida Administrative Register on February 19, 2018. No comments were received. The Order granting this Petition was signed on May 10, 2018. After a complete review of the waiver/variance request, the Department found that the underlying purpose of subsection 120.542(2), Florida Statutes had been achieved and that the application of the Rule would create a financial hardship for Bluewater.
