40E-6.221Conditions for Issuance of Standard Permits

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 12, 2017, the South Florida Water Management District (District) received a petition for waiver from Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management (Application No. 17-0207-1M) for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the C-18E canal, for the installation of a shellrock open area for parking, kayak/canoe launch, and floating barrier for public access to paddling trails within the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area along the west side of the C-18E Canal just north of PGA Boulevard; Section 5, Township 42 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County. The petition seeks relief from paragraph 40E-6.221(3)(j), Fla. Admin. Code, which prohibits parking within Works or Lands of the District.
