NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Office of Financial Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Heritage Investment Group, Inc. and Heritage Trust Protector Services, LLC. on February 27, 2020. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: On May 18, 2020, a Final Order on the Petition was issued. The Office determined that under the circumstances described in the Findings of Fact, Petitioner may engage in one or more of the Proposed Activities without being required to obtain a trust company charter from the Office pursuant to sections 658.16 and 658.18, Florida Statutes. ******The original petition was published March 2, 2020 in the Florida Administrative Register Volume 46, Number 42.
