The Florida Department of Transportation Central Office announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: May 7, 2019, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

PLACE: City Commission Chambers - located at 6875 SE 221st Hawthorne, Florida 32640

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This public meeting is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the relocation of the CSX Transportation, Inc. highway-railroad at-grade crossing on Johnson Street / SE 221st Street to Myrtle Avenue / SE 71st Avenue in Hawthorne, Florida. There will be an open house from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. for document review and public comment. There is no presentation. Written comments will be accepted at the meeting or may be sent to the project contact person listed below and must be postmarked/time stamped on or before May 7, 2019 to be included in the official record. Public participation is sought without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
