    FWC 13/14-116 TENOROC SHOOTING RANGE IMPROVEMENTS

    BIDS ARE REQUESTED FROM QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS BY THE FLORIDA FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF:

    PROJECT NO: FWC 13/14-116

    PROJECT NAME: TENOROC SHOOTING RANGE IMPROVEMENTS

    PROJECT LOCATION: LAKELAND, FLORIDA

    FOR: Contractor will construct infrastructure improvements as shown in Phase 1. This work shall include parking spaces, drives, sidewalks, septic system and stormwater management systems as shown in the plans. Project to include all materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the scope of work. All construction and demolition debris to be disposed off-site in a legal manner for all items listed above. As-built drawings in Autocad 2010 or later are required upon completion of construction.

    QUALIFICATION: Each bidder whose field is governed by Chapter 399, 455, 489, and 633 of the Florida Statutes for licensure or certification must submit qualification data of their eligibility to submit proposals with their bid.

    PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A mandatory pre-bid conference has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Tenoroc Shooting Range, 3755 Tenoroc Mine Road, Lakeland, FL. From I-4 Exit 38 in Lakeland, FL, drive south on SR-33 approximately 1.5 miles; turn left on N Combee Rd. and drive 1.3 miles; turn left on Tenoroc Mine Rd. and proceed 1.4 mi to construction site.

    REQUIRED BONDS: On projects where the base bid and sum of all additive alternates exceeds $100,000, bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid.

    After award of contract, a 100% performance bond and a 100% labor and material payment bond will be required.

    PROPOSAL: Bids must be submitted in full accordance with the requirements of the Drawings, Specifications, Permits, Bidding Conditions, and Contractual Conditions.
