The St. Johns River Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: Friday, June 6, 2014, 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
PLACE: Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier, 2A Max Brewer Memorial Causeway, Titusville
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The St. Johns River Water Management District will hold a public event to celebrate the installation of new “real-time” water quality monitoring stations in the Indian River Lagoon. The new monitoring system is significant because it marks the first time stakeholders will have a continuous stream of data about nutrients and other factors affecting the lagoon. Prior to installation of the monitoring stations, data was gathered solely by hand. Note: One or more District Governing Board members may be in attendance at the event.
