The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: May 26, 2015, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

PLACE: Renaissance Senior Center, 3800 South Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL 32829

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a public hearing to give the public the opportunity to make comments about the Resurfacing Design Project on State Road (SR) 552 (Curry Ford Road) from east of SR 436 to SR 551 (Goldenrod Road). The resurfacing project will rehabilitate the existing pavement, correct deficient curb ramps, alter median openings/locations, add a drainage structure, and provide signing/pavement markings.

The public hearing begins as an open house at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m. The public hearing provides an opportunity to comment on the resurfacing project, as well as to review the project’s supporting information and draft design documents. FDOT representatives will be available during the public hearing to answer questions. Written comments from all interested parties will be accepted by the department at the public hearing and for a period of ten (10) days after the public hearing. All comments, written and oral, will become part of the project’s public record. All comments, written or oral, received prior to June 5, 2015, will become part of the public hearing record.
