    The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Monday, June 1, 2015, 4:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Riverside North, 2711 Edison Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This meeting is being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of Financial Project ID: 409267-1, otherwise known as the Edison Avenue Bridge over McCoy’s Creek in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. The proposed improvements will replace the existing 2-lane bridge with a new bridge with two 12-foot travel lanes, 5-foot shoulders and a 5-foot sidewalk on the north side of the bridge. During construction, a temporary bridge will be installed on the north side to maintain vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or family status.
