    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 8, 2013 the Florida Real Estate Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from H. Scott Gleason. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of 475.01, Florida Statutes as it applies to the petitioner.

    The Petitioner seeks whether a Broker's license is required in the State of Florida if employees of the Company are leasing and/or managing real estate assets owned by the Company and/or its affiliates, and not by third-parties, and such employees of the Company are not compensated on a commission or transaction basis.
