    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 17, 2018, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for variance pursuant to Section 120.542, F.S., from Petitioner, Marion County Utilities, NW Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. The petition requested a variance from subsection 62-610.462(3), F.A.C., and Chapter 62-699, F.A.C., to allow Marion County Utilities, NW Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility to reduce the operator staffing time for weekend days from the required 6 hours per day to only 3 hours per day. subsection 62-610.462(3), F.A.C., requires that minimum staffing at the wastewater treatment facility shall be reduced to staffing by a Class C or higher operator 6 hours per day, 7 days per week unless Chapter 62-699, F.A.C., requires additional operator presence or higher level of operator. The property is located at 11800 S. US Hwy 441, Belleview, Florida 34420. The petition has been assigned OGC No. 18-0986; DEP Permit No. FLA272060.
