Final Order No. DEO-16-077
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued Final Order No. DEO-16-077 on May 24, 2016, in response to an application submitted by Hidden Oaks Addition Homeowner’s Association, Inc. for covenant revitalization under Chapter 720, Part III, Florida Statutes.
The Department’s Final Order denied the application for covenant revitalization after determining that it did not meet the statutory requirements as the Association failed to include its verified copy of the its previous covenants, Articles of Incorporation, or By-Laws with its submission, violating Section 720.406(1)(b), Florida Statutes, and the Association failed to show that it is a Homeowners Association pursuant to Section 720.301(9), Florida Statutes, and is ineligible to revitalize under Section 712.11, Florida Statutes, or Chapter 720, Part III, Florida Statutes.
