    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of this new rules is to implement section 402.33(3), Florida Statutes and ensure that, for a client residing in licensed residential facilities, a portion of his or her third-party and benefit payments is set aside for that client’s incidental personal expenses. New definitions are added to clarify the meaning of certain terminology within the new rule.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: These rules address the definitions for new terms included in the new rules and personal allowances that are to be set aside, for the client’s benefit, out of a client’s third-party benefit payment by licensed residential facilities that serve as a representative payee.
