The Northwest Florida Water Management District announces two workshops to which all persons are invited: Apalachicola River and Bay Surface Water Improvement and Management Plan Public Workshops.

PLACE: Apalachicola Community Center at Battery Park, 1 Bay Ave., Apalachicola, Florida 32320 (in Battery Park, adjacent to Gorrie Bridge)

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The public is invited to attend workshops to review information and to provide input for an update to the Apalachicola River and Bay Surface Water Improvement and Management (SWIM) plan. This plan is being developed by the Northwest Florida Water Management District to build on past and ongoing efforts to protect and restore watershed resources. The meetings will provide an overview of watershed conditions and proposed implementation strategies and projects. Participants will have the opportunity to provide input and to identify actions to address identified challenges.
