    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Commission is considering revising the rule to 1) incorporate by reference and link to the Commission-approved Gopher Tortoise Management Plan and to Commission-approved Guidelines for the Gopher Tortoise, 2) link to revised Commission-approved Guidelines for the Florida pine snake, 3) add the Gulf of Mexico Bryde’s whale to the Florida Endangered and Threatened Species list as federally endangered, and 4) revise rule provisions associated with species classified as Endangered, Threatened, or Species of Special Concern.
