SUMMARY: The rule sets forth the provisions for the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY™ Retailer Triple Sales Commission Promotion which begins June 1, 2020.

53ER20-37 JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY™ Retailer Triple Sales Commission Promotion.

(1) Beginning June 1, 2020, the Florida Lottery will conduct the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY™ Retailer Triple Sales Commission Promotion (“Promotion”). The Promotion will continue through June 30, 2020, or end on the date on which the funding available for the Promotion has been utilized; whichever date occurs first (“Promotion Period”). Retailers will be notified of the official end date of the Promotion by retailer terminal messaging.

(2) During the Promotion Period, the Florida Lottery will pay Florida Lottery retailers an additional ten percent bonus sales commission in addition to the standard five percent sales commission for a total fifteen percent sales commission (“Triple Sales Commission”) on the purchase price of each JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY and JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY with Combo lottery ticket sold. Free JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY with Combo tickets issued as prizes are not eligible for Triple Sales Commissions.

(3) Bonus sales commissions will be considered compensation to a retailer and will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service by the Florida Lottery.

THIS RULE TAKES EFFECT UPON BEING FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE UNLESS A LATER TIME AND DATE IS SPECIFIED IN THE RULE.
