    40E-6.011: Policy and Purpose

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 30, 2013, the South Florida Water Management District (“District”), received a petition for waiver from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Application No. 13-0419-1, for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the Cocohatchee Canal, for the proposed placement of a cantilever overhead sign, post foundation and associated conduit within Works and Lands of the District; Section 20, Township 48 South, Range 26 East, Collier County. The petition seeks relief from subsections 40E-6.011(4) and (6), Fla. Adm. Code, which govern the placement of above-ground permanent and/or semi-permanent encroachments within 40’ top of canal bank within the Works or Lands of the District.
