NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from the City of Tarpon Springs. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 404, Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014), Fuel Gas & Section G2415, Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014), Residential as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether an isolation valve is required to be installed on a new gas piping system for each intended appliance prior to final inspection & whether labeling is required for a future stub out (2lbs or more per appliance) are on the same piping system.
