65C-15.017: Personnel

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on May 5, 2008, the Department of Children and Family Services has issued an order.

On January 28, 2008, the Department of Children and Family Services received a petition for waiver of subsection 65C-15.017(3), F.A.C., from Devereux Florida and petitioners Donna Blackman, Erica Tollett and Jennifer Davenport. Subsection 65C-15.017(3), F.A.C., states staff of a licensed child-placing agency responsible for performing casework services possess at least a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field. Petitioners have demonstrated that they possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities represented by the social work degree requirement in the rule. The Department issued an Order Granting Petitioners’ Waiver Request.
