NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from Arnoldo A. Artiles, P.E., of Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Sections 1603 and 1604, Florida Building Code, Building (2010) as it applies to the petitioner.

The petitioner requests clarification regarding the applicable risk category to be used in the structural design of telecommunication equipment located on an elevated platform.
