    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed amendments to Rule 12D-16.002, F.A.C., is to implement the portability provisions of Section 5 of Chapter 2007-339, Section 3 of Chapter 2008-173, and Section 5 of Chapter 2012-193, L.O.F., which revised Section 193.155, F.S.

    The effect of these proposed amendments is that affected parties will have forms available that comply with current law. This is the second rule development workshop to be held on these proposed rule amendments. The first workshop was held on February 24, 2015. The proposed amendments to this rule and the proposed new Form DR-501TS are posted on the Department’s website at http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/property/legislation/rules/.
