NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Nursing has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Regina Ann Gorski on January 27, 2017. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published on February 7, 2017 in Volume 43, No. 25 of the Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner asks whether it is within the scope of practice as defined in Section 464.003(3)(a), F.S., for her to provide injections, under physician supervision, of Neurotoxins (BOTOX) and dermal fillers. The Board’s Order, filed on April 25, 2017, states that under the specific facts of the petition, the injection of BOTOX and dermal fillers for aesthetic purposes is not within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.
