    DATE AND TIME: June 6, 2017, 3:00 p.m.

PLACE: Sanibel Recreation Center, 3880 Sanibel Captiva Road, Sanibel, Florida

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To receive public comments on draft nutrient total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) for impaired waters in the Charlotte Harbor Basin, to be adopted in Rule 62-304.805, F.A.C. The revised draft TMDLs to be presented at the public workshop are for Sanibel Slough West (WBID 2092F1) and Sanibel Slough East (WBID 2092F2). The Department will accept written comments on the draft TMDLs, as well as the establishment of these nutrient TMDLs as site specific interpretations of the narrative nutrient criterion, through June 9, 2017. Written comments should be directed to Ansel Bubel, Administrator, Watershed Evaluation and TMDL Section, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Mail Station 3555, 2600 Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2400, ansel.bubel@dep.state.fl.us.
