Telecommunications Ordinance
The Coral Springs City Commission will hold a Public Hearing at Coral Springs City Hall located at 9500 West Sample Road, Coral Springs, Florida, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 6:30 PM when the Commission will hear:
ORDINANCE 2018-104 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CORAL SPRINGS, FLORIDA AMENDING THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE CITY OF CORAL SPRINGS BY AMENDING SECTION 101, ENTITLED “SPECIAL EXCEPTION FROM LITERAL ENFORCEMENT OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE;” AMENDING SECTION 190.1, ENTITLED “SCHEDULE OF CIVIL PENALTIES;” AMENDING SECTION 1901, ENTITLED “IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY;” AMENDING SECTION 250105, ENTITLED “DEFINITIONS;” AMENDING SECTION 250129, ENTITLED “ACCESSORY STRUCTURES;” AMENDING SECTION 250130, ENTITLED “HEIGHT LIMITS;” AMENDING SECTION 250153, ENTITLED “PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR CONDITIONAL USES BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND CITY COMMISSION;” REPEALING CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE XIV, ENTITLED “TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWERS AND ANTENNAS;” CREATING ARTICLE XVI, ENTITLED “COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES;” REPEALING CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ENTITLED “TELECOMMUNICATIONS;” PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance may be viewed in its entirety at the Office of the City Clerk during regular business hours at the address above. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to this matter, he or she must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings are made. The record should include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
Residents planning to attend the meeting who need special assistance must notify the Office of the City Clerk at (954)344-1065 no less than 72 hours (3 business days) preceding the meeting.
