    6M-4.710School Readiness Program Curricula

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 28, 2020, the Florida Department of Education, Office of Early Learning, received a petition for an Emergency Variance for Rule 6M-4.710, Florida Administrative Code from The Learning Experience located in Deerfield Beach. The above referenced rule addresses the specifications, policies and procedures for the School Readiness curriculum approval process. School Readiness providers must begin using an approved curriculum by July 1, 2020. Petitioner is requesting to be permitted to continue the use of their proprietary curriculum at their child care locations across the state of Florida past the start date of the latest approved curriculum list for School Readiness providers. The Office of Early Learning will accept comments concerning the Petition for 5 days from the date of publication of this notice. To be considered, the Office must receive comments by close of business, 5:00 p.m. on the fifth day.
