    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.
    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, May 26, 2011, 9:00 a.m.
    PLACE: South Florida Water Management District’s Martin/St. Lucie Service Center, 780 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL
    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To receive public comments on draft fecal coliform total maximum daily load (TMDL) reports for the impaired waters in the St. Lucie River and Loxahatchee River Basins, to be adopted in Rules 62-304.705 and 62-304.710, F.A.C., respectively. The fecal coliform TMDLs to be presented at the public workshop are: for the St. Lucie River Basin, the St. Lucie River (North Fork) (WBID 3194) and Tenmile Creek (WBID 3194A), and for the Loxahatchee River Basin, the Southwest Fork Loxahatchee (WBID 3226C). The draft TMDL documents for these impaired waters will be placed on the Department’s TMDL website (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/tmdl/) by May 6, 2011 and will be provided upon request to interested parties by mail or via e-mail distribution. The Department will accept written comments on the draft TMDLs through June 6, 2011.
