The Board of Nursing hereby gives notice that on March 27, 2013, it received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Eunice Jones-Wills. The petitioner is seeking the Board’s interpretation as to whether taking digital single view chest x-rays for the purpose of screening for tuberculosis while working in a federal facility is within the scope of practice for a registered nurse. The Board will address this petition at its next meeting.
